@aholtzma@mstdn.ca It is a huge pain in the butt to configure and I really don't like the architecture. They're also close to $100 in low volume and lack a bunch of features the STM32s have that I consider key for useful embedded stuff ,most notably a hard TRNG and AES accelerator

@aholtzma@mstdn.ca and that's for the single core modules with only one A9 core that is competitive performance wise with the M7 on the stm32h7 but the h7 also has an auxiliary M4. also the zynq has only 256 kB of on die SRAM while the H757 has 1 MB

@azonenberg@ioc.exchange it kills me that you have to pay $100 for a $15 part in North America. The one big upside of the classic Zynq is that it is very mature and most of the bugs have been found.
