@azonenberg@ioc.exchange it kills me that you have to pay $100 for a $15 part in North America. The one big upside of the classic Zynq is that it is very mature and most of the bugs have been found.

@aholtzma@mstdn.ca I don't care about mythical Shenzhen unicorn pricing for parts, I care about how much money i have to hand someone to get one. If you know the right person in another continent and can go to his shop in person and buy a whole tray, I'm sure you can get *anything* much cheaper. I'm told giant virtexes aren't $50K a pop if you hand over your firstborn to an AMD FAE either.
