@azonenberg@ioc.exchange you can run Zynq in microcontroller mode without the DDR. Is that still too complicated? iirc you can get it down to a pretty small package.

@aholtzma@mstdn.ca It is a huge pain in the butt to configure and I really don't like the architecture. They're also close to $100 in low volume and lack a bunch of features the STM32s have that I consider key for useful embedded stuff ,most notably a hard TRNG and AES accelerator
