I have seen hundreds of people driving around with boats on trailers or on their roof racks this year, but very few (maybe 10?) on the water. Why? It is the end of July. Normally you see them Spring and Fall when they're put in the water and taken out in Ontario, but this is every day, all day. These are the kinds of questions that plague me. #MastodonMusings

@AnnieBuddy@thecanadian.social Could be the cost of fuel for motorized watercraft? Prices are way up, and marine fuel is more expensive than gasoline. Who can afford to blow hundreds of dollars on gas in this economy?
