I'm not saying everyone has to have an osdev phase. It's fine to not do it, you gotta have a particular strain of brain worms for it, and it doesn't automatically make you a good coder/person if you do. But way to miss the whole point of the exercise to just get something to generate that code for you. There's nothing cool about this, you just wasted electricity to make a dead end useless project that impresses no-one but your own ego. It's a microwave meal, you gonna serve that to others?
