I would spend years learning how to do something that's either unmarketable or uninteresting. This is taking months to learn something that is interesting and marketable. I unfortunately have to optimize how I spend my time doing what I enjoy so that it earns its keep, as do we all. We have just been made to accept a lower standard of tool for getting that done than our sighted peers.
