@centaureacyanus@mastodon.social I actually prefer planting native species. Will probably stick to keeping it in a pot or creating a bonsai (never tried!).
Less concerned about the fruit as I am unlikely to be alive by the time it starts producing them :)

@mrc@mastodon.berlin I just had the info that this "they take ages too produce fruit" is an legend, just looked it up to be sure and apparently they take roughly 20-30 years. Which is too long to wait and see I guess, but hopefully you will be still alive ;) And trying one as a bonsai sounds exciting- never tried this either!
