The absolutely most annoying part of #AI, worse than all the #IPR theft and marketing airtime pollution, is how a) my state pension by now has invested in it, and b) the Musks, Ellisons and Altmans will *get away with it* when the whole shitshow tanks (because plutocracy). And of course all the people who now have been *so very earnest* about how people like myself whose profession it is to manage risk are "hindering progress", will act like they never even were a part of the disaster themselves, and move on to the next hype like flies to a new dungheap. Meting out punishment is never a success driver, but damn if I wouldn't accept some inefficiency to see it done here.
