I'm 37 and I remember when I was a kid how my parent's cars would be absolutely spattered with dead insects after a drive. I remember bumble bees, butterflies and bugs everywhere.
Now there's just dead, hot air.

@thejessiekirk@ohai.social I delivered new school buses in the 90s and had to stop every hour or two to clean the windshield. But I drove last year from Edmonton to Winnipeg (1300 kms) in late May (prime bug splatter time) and didn't clean the windshield a single time. #Pesticides are killing the land. #climatecrisis
