They were basically just some extra filler (in my opinion) that consists of: Spoiler The apple of Eden gets stolen by a third party. He uses it to control people and destroy some art. Ezio kills him. Gets it back. Then goes and kills the Pope Honestly I think it would have been better placed after the story and just taking the templars out of it. But gameplay wasn’t so bad, except the last part where you have to assassinate 9 targets. Gave me flashbacks to AC Shadows right there
