The purpose of Medicare and Medicaid is for us to get the healthcare we need without going broke.
Due to President Trump, low-income people on Medicare will have to pay more for their prescription drug coverage next year.
Trump also started a pilot project to require prior authorizations for people on Medicare and gave private companies a financial reward for rejecting prior authorizations.

Democrats in Congress recently tried to repeal the program because it used highly faulty AI to deny people care that they actually needed. Republicans voted to keep the program. Why? This program is part of their effort to put all of Medicare into private for-profit hands, even though privately run Medicare “Advantage” programs have already defrauded the American people by more than $50 billion dollars.
