@jaseg@chaos.social well the CPU on these nodes is only gen3 capable anyway. Sooner or later that will be a bottleneck and probably the reason I retire them.

@azonenberg@ioc.exchange yeah right now, that’s still pretty decent and apart from GPUs and 100GBE-class network adapters there isn’t much that should saturate that. For an ssd, gen3 is plenty as long as it’s the full four lanes.
