@ChrisJagged@mastodon.social I hated the My Chemical Romance album "Danger Days" when it came out because it wasn't "Welcome to the Black Parade volume 2".
A few years later I idly gave it another listen. God, what was I thinking? It's incredibly good.

@klepsydra@wandering.shop I've done that with favorite bands, too, dismissing new albums at the time because they weren't close enough to one I liked. Just have to be in the right mood, I guess!
