Do we have #FountainPen people here who could help me choose a new pen?
I've lost my Lamy Safari. I never especially liked it so don't want another.
Lefty. Smallish hands prone to fatigue. Prefer to write posted so I don't lose the cap but hate backweight.
Need a comfortable, easy, durable workhorse for notes or journalling that I can toss into a bag. Not ever going to have nice handwriting and not a pen enthusiast per se so don't care hugely about design etc.
UK based. Rough budget £75-£125 or so

@TheDonsieLass@mas.to Lefty here, also smallish hands. I have lots of fun with a kaweco Steel Sport, which is cute, writes very smoothly, fits in a pocket, and is very solidly built. If that's too eavy, there's the Kaweco AL sport. The brass sport is gorgeous, but likely too heavy. I use an M nib, but there are all sizes. A fast-drying ink is de rigœur I quite like Herbin ones, Rose Cyclamen being my favourite, or Eclat de Sapphire for official writing. Lastly, is well below your budget!

@TheDonsieLass@mas.to have you looked at the kaweco sports ? small pens in a variety of materials from plastic to titanium. They write quite nicely & my lefty friend finds them comfortable
