Hi there,
I am Shriya, reaching out on behalf of Frame Fellowship, a 10-week residential program in San Francisco, US for creators who want to become leading voices on AI and its impact on society. We were following your content and thought you are exactly the kind of voice we built this program for.
Frame Fellowship is designed to help creators accelerate their channel growth through dedicated creation time, expert mentorship, and a collaborative community of AI researchers and creators.
Selected Frame fellow will receive:
Travel to San Francisco, with housing and meals covered
A $10,000 stipend
Mentorship from leading creators, researchers and AI experts
Ongoing support to grow your channel
How Frame Fellowship has helped past fellows:
Previous fellows created 260+ pieces of content that reached 7M+ views.
60% of fellows secured funding or opportunities with leading AI organizations.
Real growth: One fellow increased from 20K to 200K average views per video, while another grew from 1K to 12K followers in just 8 weeks.
If this sounds like a fit, just reply here. I'd be happy to highlight your work with our organizing committee and send you a personalized application link.

the site looks like the usual rationalist/Effective Altruist AI doomsday.
i am unconvinced they have been following my content.
who's paying for this?
> Frame is supported by philanthropic foundations and individual donors who back responsible AI development. Previously our lead funder was the AI Safety Tactical Opportunities Fund. Our funders have no role in selecting fellows and no influence over the content, conclusions, or framing of fellows' work. Editorial independence is the core of what we do. Fellows own their channels and their judgment.
somehow they just can't name the *present* funders.
the past funder is https://aisafety.com/funding which is rationalists/EAs all the way down, and recommends you contact the clowns at Lightcone Research, who are also the ones who called me the #1 enemy of the rationalist movement
that and entering the US in TYOOL 2026? who could pass this up (me)

@davidgerard@circumstances.run If I had a nickel every time an AI critic got a sponsorship offer from an AI company I wouldn't have enough to buy anything especially useful But I would have enough to question why all these AI critics are getting sponsorship offers

@davidgerard@circumstances.run on the other hand, what if you took their money and just had a grand old time for 10 weeks in San Francisco. Bit worried about the provided housing part though, I'm guessing that it's probably not great.
