I re-oiled our kitchen worktops yesterday. Consequently all of yesterday's washing up is stacked on every remaining flat surface (mostly the hob and the windowsill). I have to leave in 45 minutes, and I still have to wash & dry all the dishes, clean & dry all the worktops, apply another coat of oil, pack all my painting gear, have a shower, get dressed and leave. I just want to go back to bed. Edit: on top of all that our arthritic old cat has just now fallen out of his bed upstairs (I could hear the thumps and the dismayed yowl from here) and now he needs some attention and loxicom.
