Sometimes things blow my mind. First there is an HIV preventative drugs so effective THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO DO MATH to compare it to the control group (No one in the test group got HIV in the first trial. I have never before or since heard of a drug trial that effective. I believe they got something like 98% effective in the follow-up, much larger trial. NOW there is a human trial of an HIV *vaccine* that shows a lot of promise on primate trials.
