Absolutely splendid evening yesterday. We won both our Petanque matches and our club team came away with a 3-1 win against very strong opposition. I think I threw a couple of decent balls which is always a good thing! The pub garden was busy and there was a great atmosphere. (Even if the new owners are charging a fortune for drinks). The bike ride home in the dark through very quiet suburbia on my eBike was thoroughly enjoyable too. It was good to get a cooling breeze across my bones. The forecast for today is for a cooler day than yesterday thankfully. Enjoy yours. #petanque #leicestershire
