Spicy take: if your law firm has picked A Single AI Tool, and you can’t articulate why it was selected over other alternatives, you’re in violation of the Bar’s ethical requirement to understand the technology you use.

@luis_in_brief@social.coop Also, if you do not have a contract with the provider of the underlying model that goes beyond any of their off-the-shelf licenses, you are almost certainly violating your privileged communication requirements. But that’s okay, because you’re probably violating them with your email provider too (at least from the small sampling of law firms I’ve looked at).
