Yeah, I know that feeling, most often for personal projects but sometimes for professional work that has some personal interest. The few times I've managed other people, though, I think is similar, although my LLM experience to date is limited. When I think about assigning work to team members, yeah, I would not want them to do the things I find really interesting. But on the more routine stuff, delegating is ok. Hmm, except when one is looking for the rewarding feeling of accomplishment for the overall project. In that case I think it could go either way.
