@happy@mastodon.sdf.org @davidwilkins@mastodon.online it’s was a chilly dank autumn afternoon when I had my spin on my favourite S bend on the way to work. I’d driven it hundreds of times in many different cars mostly at much higher speed. But none of them sprayed as much oil as the Pinto! I can’t even remember what had let go but the entire rear half of the car was coated in castrol gtx including me. I sold the car to a guy at work a month later. Keeping oil inside the engine and gearbox was above my ability 🤣
