The company that runs ovpn is a swedish company called OVPN Integritet AB (swedish site) however, note, as snow said, that said company is in turn owned by an american company called Point Wild (formally known as pango) https://www.ovpn.com/en/blog/next-chapter-for-ovpn) which owns other, less reputable VPN services there's also njal.la as an alternative but no clue how good their vpn service is.
