Stuff like this bugs me so much. Emails should be proofed and punctuated correctly (other than where snark is intended.) It goes without saying that presentations and anything prepared for the public should be checked (3x at least!)
Can make exceptions for dialect, ESL, etc. Can't make excuses for laziness, sloppiness, ignorance.
Adults have a responsibility to the next generation — and many of us are failing miserably.
#Educate!

@RunRichRun@mastodon.social And I should admit that I have made errors like this before for my classes or on a test I gave to my students. I am not immune. Still, I agree with you. The trouble is we have devoted so few resources to schools that everyone is doing several jobs and they no longer have time to proofread three times (not to mention we are not always drawing the top teachers due to the lack of resources). So it is funny, but I do have some grace for those who have made mistakes.
