@evacide@hachyderm.io We still pay a lot of our bills by check. Here in the US, electronic payment remains risky despite it being 2026.

@fuzzychef@m6n.io @evacide@hachyderm.io It is made worse by the insistence that everybody signs up for a god forsaken app in order to pay for something. The one of the most fundamental things that defines a state is its monopoly and law applied to payment. When it fails that fundamental duty, it is a nation falling apart.
