Trump promised peace, lower prices, lower taxes to get elected and protect himself. He hasn't delivered, and now Republicans continue to shield the president and other child predators from justice and ramifications. This can all change in less than 100 days if you vote for Democrats in November. This time, don't get distracted with fake promises of lower costs or peace or fake threats of immigrant caravans or evil socialists. Every election, every race, every Democrat. #VoteBlue 2/2

@augieray@mastodon.social Oh, you mean the way the Democrats changed everything after George W. Bush was out of office? The way they investigated the United States' use of torture and punished the perpetrators? Or wait a minute, didn't they just start chanting "look forward not back" (led by Obama) and thereby normalized torture as an American practice? And remember how Obama and Biden coordinated the nationwide rollout of militarized police forces and tanks to crush the Occupy Wall Street movement over a weekend? Are we really supposed to believe that the Democrats are going to disband ICE, DHS, and the border patrol? The Democrats have been a critical part of advancing fascism in America for generations. Anytime anyone points that out, we just get told to vote harder. You know, eventually that line got really old. The Democrats serve the same billionaires that the Republicans do. Anyone who hasn't figured that out by now is either incredibly gullible, or selling something. #GeneralStrike #Politics

@augieray@mastodon.social Trump is a snake oil salesman, that has never ever kept his promises. Serial lying is his core competence. He should be in jail and not in the White House. And some of his Republican collaborators should too for the mess they are creating. And how about the Epstein files btw?
