believe it or not here’s what the people want:
- an e-bike commuter or laborer tells you how to do daily tasks on a bicycle in ways that probably aren’t obvious to most people, like loading cargo onto the bike so it won’t fall off
- a grizzled bicycle mechanic shows how to repair and modify your motor in ways that won’t get you tackled off your bike by a cop, like how to rebuild a Bosch motor with new spare parts from online

e-bikes are really exciting! it’s a bike with excellent acceleration, handling, and hill climbing capability regardless of system, rider, or cargo weight. a mid-motor with torque sensors perfectly matches its motor response to the movements of your legs. it’s the most efficient EV possible, and you can improve its efficiency by bicycling with skill, and doing so improves your health. that’s amazing! a bicycle that trades almost all of the above for pure speed and the ability to hold down a throttle lever to go is really fucking boring actually
