@erik@mastodon.infrageeks.social @Cdespinosa@mastodon.social My guess: they think Mexican people – who speak a language called spanish for reasons – travelled across the Atlantic, discovered a new territory (Europe), and founded a new land, which they named after their language… Spain! 🙃
