@wnd@fosstodon.org it doesn't exactly fill me with enthusiasm when they hold up the rail data marketplace as a great success when it's one of the worst data sources i have come across 🤔 the "API first" approach always makes me a bit squeamish because it's only really useful for real-time data or if you're gluing some pipeline together what i want is some files to download and - i know this is asking a lot and could cost 0.01% of the budget - a few years of previous versions of those files
