Alphabet, OpenAI, Anthropic and others cannot be successful without customers in the EU, Canada and other rich world countries. It's true that you, in America may not benefit from such a decision, but others would. You'll notice when I talked about different types of entities having different types of agency, I did not discuss "free speech" or "freedom of association". Canada and the US have different legal takes on this already. Not every country is going to come to the same conclusions.
