@diemkay@hachyderm.io i find it interesting that a weapon many ai-bro's and right wing techy's bring up is "that is a political decision" forgetting that open source and libre software ARE by definition political. it also reminds me of the situation in the rust community where a community member suggested anti ai guidelines and iirc got banned from the project. i can understand that projects want to be used in what ever tech is trendy atm but i feel like floss projects are trying to appeal to markets and industry too much in trying to get funding coding help or both
