Another project was a new cartridge for shower. Checked ahead of time that HD had it (5 in stock!) and when I got there not only was Symmons stuff on the very tucked in back of the very bottom of a wide variety of other brands, but no part on hand. Gave up and while looking at softeners an associate said "hi" and that was enough encouragement for me to ask about the part. We went over, she verified that yes it was empty, scans tag with bar code reader and heads over to the "alternate" display a couple aisles over (not mentioned on web/app) with at least 5 of them. It pays to talk to someone, sometimes. Also, according to Symmons their brass parts are made in Braintree, MA.
