The room I'm in is a heat trap, which is why despite it being 16c elsewhere it's 28c in here. I'm wondering if an inline extractor fan would help... I just need to dump the hot air outside... so bolt it to the failed portable aircon's existing pipe and let it run? Might be worth a punt on a £30 device before spanking £500+ on a split A/C unit and installation.
