So we are planning a bike vacation roughly following the coast between Marseille and Valencia in Sept/Oct. The challenge is, we want to get there by train, not necessarily on the direct route, possibly doing some sections by bike. One idea is to take a night train from Budapest/Vienna to Zürich, ride a day or two in Switzerland (e.g to Basel) and take a train to Avignon or Marseille. Any suggestions? The links between Zürich and the French coast don't seem to be amazing. #trains #bikepacking
