oh yes! I lived on bicycle streets in Berkeley, open to but inconvenient for cars, and that was great. Grid access for bikes and wheelchairs and feet, so nothing was far away; cars moving slowly trying to get out. And we got to see people learning to bicycle. Kids every year, generally a few adults, one year an elderly couple who were sooo anxious to start and so energetic at the end. I hear the Barcelona superblocks manage the same, grid connectivity for people, limited cars. @Kimberley@ecoevo.social
