There are some popular masto posts that I am just not meant to boost or talk about because I don't want the subject to take any more space in my brain than it already does due to our current culture.

@ppatel@mstdn.social I get that. It’s totally understandable. I wish more people understood that they don’t need to boost / re-post / re-tweet everything that outrages or upsets them. There is power is using one's own discretion. An analogue to this is traffic. People think of traffic as other people. They fail to recognize their own contribution to creating traffic.
