@Fishd@infosec.exchange Yeah, it's annoying, but I get the impression they genuinely don't know how many devices they can ship and how quickly because they're unable to get the RAM they need. This is why some Steam Machines are shipping with one stick, sometimes two depending on what they can get.
They're stuck between a rock and a hard place at the moment...as are all companies shipping computers.

This (the uncertainty of 1 or 2 sticks) was stated during an interview with Gamers Nexus but then Valve issued a statement to Gamers Nexus saying that all devices in this batch would actually all have a single 16GB stick.
