I bought a 1987 north korean 1 won coin last month to add to my small collection of conversation pieces.
I received the coin last month shortly after purchase.
Today paypal has reversed the charge, given my account a warning and support is unable to tell me why other than vague "compliance issues."
So now I am trying to get details as to what rule was broken and why, but they will not budge aside from telling me vague compliance language and "internal investigation."
So.....best guess is an automated system saw a transaction with north korea in the words and rang alarm bells.

@Dio9sys@haunted.computer My understanding is that there are automated systems that will flag on simple naughty words like "North Korea", "Iran", "Cuba", etc. You could put "Cuba sandwich" in a Venmo transaction memo and it'll probably get flagged.
