Is Chaldean a Victorian term for Aramaic?
Anyway, in the stories he did coke, so this tracks.

@celesteh@hachyderm.io An extremely cursory Wikipedia search says Chaldean is apparently similar to, but not quite the same as, Old Aramaic; the peoples themselves are consistently differentiated. But yes, my first thought was that the seven-per-cent solution was responsible.
