I gotta wonder... what is the end-goal of Ford's pro-car agenda?
Is he trying to accomplish anything besides 'moar car'?

Knowing what we know about induced demand, his highway building spree isn't going to have a major long term impact on gridlock. Even in the short term, it could also add more traffic to already congested places where expansion would already be difficult.
