Maybe I used the wrong search terms or didn't scroll the search results for too long, but I didn't find any good D-shaft knobs on Printables/Thingiverse. Either the geometry of the shaft part was all wrong and non-compliant, or the knob was pointing in the wrong direction, or I didn't like the shape for some other reason. Since I had to model anyway, I just made a replica of the original thing I was trying to replace in #OpenSCAD.
