@dch@bsd.network in my experience, many of those connections aren't LLMs. I've experienced a lot of domestic IPs, etc - hard to spot and block - due to infected IoT stuff and/or compromised devices.
I'd say it's more a sort of hybrid war.

@stefano@mastodon.bsd.cafe so those residential IPs are being used to scrape data for LLM training sets. So it’s still LLM fault.
