FATALISTIC, SIMPLISTIC (Tick Tick Tick...) It's bearable outside This will change shortly As the sun rises higher It already sears where it hits We're supposed to hit 40 100 for you Fahrenheit folk This coming Thursday Another spike in deaths The old, and the frail Collapsing In the deadly heat The coldest summer for the rest of our lives You're going to hear that a lot Because it's true There's talk about "the tipping point" There's mention of 1.5 degrees We've slopped over that edge One and a half degrees Doesn't sound like much, does it? One and a half degrees But nature isn't linear It's all Fibonnacified logarithmical and fractal Sea levels are rising Ice Caps are melting Storms are getting worse Floods are coming more frequently Weather patterns are changing The base of the food pyramid withers On a geologic or ecologic time scale This is all happening In the blink of an eye My models all say Too Late! My models indicate my few remaining summers will be uncomfortably hot Thermal runaway, with deadly heat And hungry If I live longer than another decade Tho this could come quicker Depending As always, I must stress I'm not an environmental scientist And my math is questionable At best #PoultryCoroner
