The FCC just declared war on solar projects in America (direct PDF) https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-26-786A1.pdf
Despite testing by other agencies revealing no evidence of the claim, the FCC asserts their fear of remote connectivity with supply chain dependency creates a kill-switch vector for grid-connected resources.

@hrbrmstr@mastodon.social when I deployed solar in California I had PGE sending me brief after brief accusing me of being a racist (lowering my bill, which they used to subsidize lower income homes) and a threat to their grid (federation instead of centralized). It was nuts and the solar companies all said this is just the state of corruption by PGE. I learned it even more exactly when working with a drone sensor company that detected gas leaks. PGE sent cease and desist lawyers faster than they could publish proof of gross negligence.
