My issue with nuclear power isn't that I'm scared of it, it's that it's a source of power that's very convenient right now in exchange for a lot of problems later down the line and I know enough about human nature to know that if we don't work on a sustainable alternative right away, we're never going to until it's too late. That's the subtext behind most pro-nuclear advocacy: oh don't worry, it won't be a problem until long after you're dead.
