@drewph@ieji.de @didgebaba@c.im Yeah, from what I can see the dating of these is extremely conjectural and based on ideas of historic water levels and what those levels might have been in different epochs. This isn't like they found organic dateable remains. How old these are doesn't seem to at all be a settled matter.

@drewph@ieji.de @didgebaba@c.im There is this cave in Greece which can be shown by scientific dating methods to have been inhabited since about 50k years ago. It seems to have had a wall built as a windbreak about 23k years ago. Even if the Brewarrina traps were as old as a few seem to think they are, the wall in the Greek cave would be an older human built structure. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theopetra_Cave
