@darius@friend.camp this has just crushed my will to write anything in (networked) public, which since my late teens was this whole defining thing about how i saw myself and my work. was i a _good_ writer? i mean, no false modesty here, but who the fuck knows. maybe i was getting better. either way, i was a writer and it was most of my power to do anything in the world. and it's just... gone.

@darius@friend.camp and like i absolutely should take this as a cue to distribute crackpot newsletters on paper and get way into woodworking, but i admit i've having a real hard time letting it go.
