So, okay, that's bad. Right?
Well, yes, but not the way you think it is.
Energy being put toward things that are useful is good, in general.
The problem? The world exists as a K-shaped economy. The interest of #billionaires is wildly overrepresented in the marketplace.
I want to use the energy for a lawnmower, but I'm shopping in the same energy market at Jezz Bezos.
Same with RAM, SSDs, Graphics Cards, chips.
Billionaires control 4% of the world's wealth. Millionaires half of it.

So, anyone trying to sell anything right now has to decide which half of the market to sell to. The 58 million adults controlling half the world's wealth, or the 8 billion poors. Literally, every problem you have, and for that matter every with #AI is derived from this one simple fact. The reason your eggs cost so much, and ram costs so much, and google and your video games are shitty, and everyone is pushing #AI slop down your throat comes from this one fact. 7/
