The blog comment on using the AGENTS.md format is dead on point. Might even turn this into a skill or a non-llm based/deterministic linter or rules for an existing linter.
Someone even made a Gnome extensions profiler if I remember correctly.
Sure, some people will generate bad extensions still. Just like they do right now.
Others might improve what exists or create better ones from the start.

@jti42@infosec.exchange @gnome@floss.social This was something JustPerfection and I talked about. I urged him to setup a claude.md or agents.md and put all those in there so that it would teach LLMs to do it the right way. If you leave the field, you don't have control. So better to learn in and use the tools that we have to at least reduce slop by showing what to do.
