i was queued up for the soda machine and the guy in front of me said, "sorry im taking so long, buddy." then he turned around and, very embarrassedly, apologized: "i hardly looked back at you and thought you were male." then he opined, "its probably your height that threw me off." i said, "oh trust, its been a common mistake my whole life. youre hardly the first."
