I wish #Mastodon gave finer control over who can see a post, than just "followers". I want to let people follow me as they wish, without having to worry about very personal posts being world-visible. It would be very good to be able to manually add followers (or even non-followers?) into subgroups based on trust level, and make posts only visible to those.

@ruawhitepaw Yes, this. For years I've been calling to revive the idea of Google+ Circles, or any number of other platforms with selective sharing.
